Les registres de l'Anglican Cathedral Holy Trinity Church de Québec pour le 4 décembre 1809 font état de l'acte de sépulture suivant : 

«Alsop buried      

William Alsop, gunner in the Fourth Batallion of the Royal Regiment of Artillery, aged twenty years, was found dead in his bed December the third and was buried December the fourth, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and nine.
